In addition to mports, the MidnightBSD ports system, users can also try MirPorts. This system has some similar features to mports including faking and package building, but offers different software packages.

Compatibility: MirPorts was tested on 0.2-CURRENT and 0.1.1-RELEASE. 0.1.1 users will need to first install mksh from mports before proceeding with the MirPorts setup.
