Well... that's not what the change did on my box, it was message=yes
and then -f, but if that's what you were seeing then it certainly
wasn't right.  It still isn't right on a lot of ports (and some ports
hack around it with MAKEFILE= <blank>).  I'll fix it up after 0.1.
