  deskutils/gnome-characters: update to 50.0 (#1238)

Updates GNOME Characters to 50.0 and refreshes the staged locale and
metainfo plist entries.

Validation: bmake makesum, patch, build, fake, package, test (existing
NO_TEST), check-license, portlint -C, and git diff --check.

Update the GNOME Characters port to release 50.0 and synchronize its
packaged metadata.

Enhancements:
- Update GNOME Characters from 48.0 to 50.0.
- Refresh the package checksums and staged locale and metainfo entries
for the new release.
