Radek,
The Realtek NIC is not supported by MidnightBSD currently. I’ll add it as something to look into. Realtek previously released a driver for FreeBSD for their older NICs. I have successfully used it before on MidnightBSD. That might be a workaround for the NIC problem.
I’m a bit surprised by the USB issue. Does the mouse and keyboard fail to work in both USB 2 & 3 ports on that board? What are the BIOS settings set to for USB hand off / legacy devices? I’d suggest toggling those and see if it helps.
Did you see any errors when it was booting?
