Success
Very close now. openoffice3 in /usr/local/bin is still pointing to the wrong place but soffice works manually
This is a WIP but I want to save what I've got so far so I can work on it from home.

Update to 7.2.25
ok one little change to the plist
add var to plist that we can @comment to ignore gvimtutor for vim-lite builds.
Fix a number of portlint issues including fixing the comment and making hard returns for pkg-descr lines. Also fix conflicts for joe2 deletion
update to 2.0.9
Remove joe version 2. joe 3.5 and jupp remain. Fix conflicts on both ports as well as the vim ports we updated moments ago. In the vim case, make sure that vim-lite and vim do not conflict with themselves.
Remove vim6. Users can run vim 7 now and it's a hassle to maintain dupicate ports of something this trivial.
Update to 22.2
add simple xfce4 editor
update 2.6.4.

Part 1 of 2: Upgrade abiword to 2.6.3.
update to 20080610

Remove vim5 port. This makes our lives a lot easier as it is one less port that needs LATEST_LINK. It makes no sense to maintain 3 versions of vim anyway. 6 or 7 should be sufficient.
security update
Move staroffice in german here.
Fix typo

fix distinfo (magus)
CVE-2008-2152: open office 2.4.1
cvs file was updated years ago apparently
Convert some of these to dirrmtry I need to find out what's created by gnome-hier and other ports so we know what's safe to delete and what to assume is there with this port in the plist. Magus may catch some things too.
Create an openoffice.org24 script that *should* work with the menus.
Getting closer to having usable gnome/kde menu items with icons. This adds the icons and the desktop files. The remaining step is replacing the symlink for openoffice.org2.4 with a shell script that execs soffice with params.
Disable linprocfs checks when building packages (magus)
Add options for JAVA support. With this set, it will include JAVA as a run depends. We might need to do more with this later.
First pass at cleaning up the netbsdisms. This passes everything possible with portlint now.
This is a work in progress. OpenOffice 2.4 for linux. This port is running for me on my amd64 mnbsd install. It was based on the NetBSD port, and I haven't cleaned it up yet. Expect revisions.
add jupp. Set conflicts for joe and joe2 ports.
add license
add zile
switch to tk category.CVS: ----------------------------------------------------------------------

Similar to the jedit port, add a build depends on java but do not set JAVA_BUILD which implies we're compiling something too! We almost need a third option between NO_BUILD and JAVA_BUILD
Got it. Found a way to add the build depends and keep NO_BUILD
Ok this failed on magus too. Technicall NO_BUILD and JAVA_BUILD can't both be set. however we need java installed before fake because fake uses a java INSTALLER. WTF do we do with this.
We need java to run this!
add javarun and java build vars to force this to have a java depends!
Fix build and run depends. javavmwrapper only offers javavm
Similar changes to jedit devel. Switch to USE_XORG. We need java 1.4+ here.
Some preliminary changes. Update to 4.3p14, switch to USE_XORG=x11, fix the jedit.sh file because this version requires java 5
License

Enable PDF support again. Add missing poppler dependancy for that purpose. Also patch for a known security hole that was recently announced related to PDF handling.
Update for fake fixes. This may be incorrect. We are ignoring the presence of the fake destdir in the binary. I have tested xemacs, and it appears to work correctly, but my testing was not rigorous.
Bump port revision so it builds on next magus run
This may fix the magus error.
Bump portrevision on all GNUStep ports.
bump portrevision for the last change.
